In this perspective MAD HEART is a representation of our FEAR of love and how we sacrifice our spirit to be in love. Love has been more of a lesson to me; and in that lesson I’ve come to realize how much i give away in my attempt to connect with my person. In this I’m depicting how I lead with my heart as my initials sacrifice in the ritual of connection; but let’s educate you on HOODOO culture. Hoodoo is a combination of African religious practices and Southern African American culture that also expands as a set of spiritual practices and beliefs like; herbal healing, paying respect of African ancestors, circle dancing, using relics like stones and charms for protection and guidance etc. Created in the United States by enslaved African Americans. It's based on West and Central African traditional African spiritualities and elements, as well as indigenous botanical knowledg.
